CRUCIAL NATIVE TITLE ACCESS AGREEMENT RECEIVED & LODGED

The Directors are pleased to announce that Republic has secured crucial native title agreements for its Tregorra project in Far North Queensland.

Republic has received signed copies of a Native Title Access Agreement for EPMs 13937 and 13938 and lodged the Agreement with the Queensland Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy. The Agreement has been negotiated with the Western Yalanji Native Title claimant group, with the North Queensland Land Council facilitating the negotiation.

The agreement will lead to the grant of EPMs 13937 and 13938. EPM 13937 contains the Company’s Tregoora Project, where a number of prospects lie on the regionally important Retina Fault. EPM 13938 is immediately to the north of EPM 13937 and covers any potential extension of the Retina Fault to the north of Tregoora.

The Tregoora Project contains the Black Knight, Retina, Pillidge, Midway, Honey, Rainbird, South Mitchell and Quartz Wall Prospects. The Black Knight Prospect was been extensively drilled in the 1980’s, but to only shallow depths. Best intersections at Black Knight include 12 metres at 5.16 g/t Au, 18 metres at 3.33 g/t Au, 14 metres at 4.07 g/t Au, 8 metres include 5.68 g/t Au, 10 metres at 4.26 g/t Au and 4 metres at 9.49 g/t Au.
